LogRide Parks

A location must meet a specific set of criteria before it is added as a LogRide "park". This criteria will evolve over time and we recommend checking this page frequently.

Category A
  • Roller Coaster
  • Flat Ride*
  • Water Ride
  • Dark Ride
  • Simulator (Large Capacity)
  • Raft/Tube Slide
  • Body/Mat Slide
  • Alpine Slides/Bobkarts (Classified as Dry Slides)
*Excluding Bumper Boats, “Spin Zone” Bumper Cars, and Go-Karts
Category B
  • Children’s Ride
  • Transport Ride
  • Show
  • Simulator (Small Scale)
  • Dry Slide
  • Body Slide
  • Wave Pool
  • River
  • Explore
  • Play Structure
  • Kiddie Slide (Water Park)
  • Virtual Reality

A standard "park" must contain the following-

  • At least one (1) Category A attraction or historically significant* attraction
  • At least one (1) permanently installed attraction
  • At least one (1) permanent plot of land, occupied year-round
  • This can include several plots of land connected via path

Water Parks

In addition to the requirements above, a water park must include the following-

  • All attractions must have names
  • The Water Park must contain at least 5 unique attractions

Midway Providers (also known as Showmen) are individual persons or companies that rent, lease, or travel with temporary attractions. You can find Midway Providers under LogRide’s Midway section.

Cruise Ships
  • Cruise Ships will be added if they meet the criteria above.
  • Cruise ships should be classified as type “Cruise Ship” (not water park)
  • Data entry should be as followed
    • Ship Name – Cruise Line Name (ex: Mardi Gras – Carnival Cruise Line)

*Historically Significant AttractionsAttractions with historical value or status may be considered as exceptions by the LogRide Research Team.
